Online Privacy Policy & Confidentiality Policy


This Online and Mobile Banking Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes the types of personal information that is collected by LGE Community Credit Union (“LGE,” “we,” “us,” “our”) in connection with our online and mobile banking applications and related services offered by LGE. This Privacy Policy is intended to supplement the disclosures in any Privacy Policy that you may have already been presented by us in connection with online banking or other services.

Data Collected

LGE may collect certain personal information and data from you and your device to provide you the Services, including as follows:

Personal Information
Application Information
Monitoring performance of the application using crash logs and diagnostics to improve the Services
Device ID
Validating identity and preventing fraud
Financial Information
Providing account and transaction services using account IDs and card numbers
Providing location-based services like locating service points, and preventing fraud
Personal Identifying Information (PII)
Validating identity and processing requests using name, address, and phone number
Processing mobile deposits using images of checks
Validating identity and processing transaction requests


It is our general policy to treat your personal information as confidential.  However, we will disclose information to third parties about your account or the transactions you make in the following situations:

  • Where it is necessary to complete transactions;
  • Where it is necessary to provide you additional third party services that you request;
  • In order to verify the existence and condition of your account to a third party, such as a credit bureau or merchant;
  • In order to comply with legal process, government agency or court order;
  • If you otherwise give us specific permission

Data Retention and Security

LGE will retain, protect, use and share personal information collected through the Services about you as long as it is reasonably required for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, and as required by law, including but not limited to for risk management, regulatory compliance, and audit purposes. All personal information and data collected by LGE is encrypted, retained, and deleted using security measures, designed to protect your information from unauthorized access and use, and that comply with government regulatory guidelines and LGE policy.


We may amend this Privacy Policy at any time by posting a revised version. The revised version will be effective immediately at the time it is posted unless a delayed effective date is expressly stated therein. You may (in our discretion) also be provided with an email notification of such amendments. If we make any change in how we use your personal information, we will notify you by email or by means of a notice in the mobile application prior to the change becoming effective. You may (in our discretion) be required to affirmatively acknowledge or accept the revised Privacy Policy in order to continue using the Services. Any use of the Services after a notice of change will constitute your express agreement to such changes.
